Stamped and decorative concrete that looks like it belongs on a limestone house
Flagstone, Texas Lueders limestone, wood plank and ashlar slate patterns, colored through and sealed for the sun — one reinforced slab instead of a thousand pavers to heave.
Stamped concrete is the finish Georgetown asks for most on patios and pool decks, and it makes sense here: the houses are limestone and stucco, the yards are big, and a stamped slab in a Lueders-limestone or random-flagstone pattern reads as stone for $15 to $24 a square foot instead of the $25 to $40 that real cut stone costs set. It's also one reinforced slab. On Blackland clay that matters — pavers on the east side of I-35 heave and roll every wet-dry cycle; a properly built slab moves as one piece and the pattern hides the control joints.
The Texas-specific details: light integral colors on pool decks because dark stamped concrete is untouchable at 4 PM in July; a solvent-based UV-stable sealer with grit for slip resistance, re-applied every two to three years; and expansion joints where the patio meets the house and the pool, because the slab and the foundation move at different rates on clay. We'll set sample panels out in your sun before you pick a color. Stamped overlays over a sound existing patio are also available.

Questions we get about stamped concrete
How much does stamped concrete cost in Georgetown?
$15 to $24 per square foot for a new stamped slab depending on pattern, colors and borders — about double plain broom finish and 40 to 60 percent of real stone. Overlays on an existing slab run $9 to $15.
Does stamped concrete crack on Blackland clay?
Any concrete cracks on clay if the base and reinforcement are wrong. We over-excavate and compact a select base on the east side, use rebar rather than mesh, and cut the joints along the pattern lines; the slab moves as one piece and the joints hide.
How hot does it get?
Dark stamped concrete gets as hot as dark pavers — too hot for bare feet. Lighter colors run 20 to 30 degrees cooler; we'll show you in the sun.
Stamped concrete or pavers?
On the west-side limestone, either works. On the east-side clay, a reinforced stamped slab outperforms pavers, which heave individually. Stamped is also cheaper and has no joints for weeds and ants. See our guide.
Do you handle the HOA?
Yes — Sun City's Modification Request, Wolf Ranch, Berry Creek, Teravista and the rest. We prepare it with the pattern and color samples.
