Who you'll talk to
The people on your job, from the first ring to the last pass of the trowel.
The simplest introduction is to follow one job from first ring to finished slab. Say your driveway has heaved again and it's late.
The first ring
You call (737) 379-2302. Late doesn't matter; the line is open at any hour. An automated assistant asks for your name, your number and what you'd like poured or fixed. Within the hour a real person calls you back. Whenever you'd rather talk to someone, just ask for a callback and you'll get a human, not a recording.
The visit
Next comes the estimator, who walks the site with a tape, looks at where the water runs, checks the soil, and writes up the price. This is the moment for the questions you've been sitting on: why the slab has to be that thick, whether a repair will actually hold. You'll get a straight answer.
The paperwork
While you think the estimate over, the office is at work in the background: the permit application, the HOA submission, a pour date the forecast will allow, and an insurance certificate kept current so it's ready when you ask.
The pour
On the day, the crew lead takes over, from tearing out the old slab to the final finish: the base, the forms, the steel, the pour itself, the finish, control joints and sealer. They go over the finished slab with you first, and only then do the forms get loaded back on the truck.
A word on who's who
Georgetown Concrete Works is run locally here in Georgetown, TX. The hands-on concrete work is done by local crews that are independent and carry their own insurance, not by the people who run this website. We'll tell you which crew is coming before anyone gets scheduled. The arrangement is spelled out in our referral marketing disclosure, and our about page explains how we choose the crews.
