Work with us in Georgetown
Vetted local crews get their Georgetown and Williamson County concrete bookings through us. If you're good at the work, we'd like to meet you.
Two doors in
Here's the setup. Georgetown Concrete Works is a local booking and marketing outfit for concrete around Georgetown. Homeowners call us, and the jobs go to local contractors who are independent of us, each of whom hires their own crew. So there are two ways in: as a contractor who takes our bookings, or as someone who wants to be on one of those crews.
For contractors who already carry a license and insurance
What we hand over is a booked estimate appointment: an actual homeowner, with an actual concrete project, waiting on a visit. We send those to contractors who turn up when they said they would, quote straight, and leave the place tidy. Before any lead goes your way we confirm a clean safety record, that you've got your own transport and hand tools, and that the paperwork is in order. To start, send your company name, the area you cover and your insurance certificate to hello@georgetownconcreteworks.com.
For people who want to be on a crew
The contractors we book for are nearly always short of good hands. Crew leads who can take a pour from the first truck to the last broom stroke. Laborers who can handle a screed and work a bull float. Finishers and form setters. An estimator able to measure up a yard and write a scope that's honest. We're glad to pass your name along.
Expect them to want a clean safety record and your own ride and hand tools. Crew leads and contractors will also need general liability cover and workers' comp, plus any license the city or the state requires for the work.
Getting in touch
Send an email to hello@georgetownconcreteworks.com with "Crew" or "Contractor" in the subject line, a few sentences about what you've done, the towns you can get to, and a number where we can reach you. You don't need a résumé to open the conversation, and if you'd sooner talk, call (737) 379-2302.
One last thing. We never charge applicants, for anything. If someone wants money from you to put you "on the list", they aren't us.
